I saw this somewhere, there’s a fix for the microphone where the ubitx puts out only 1 watt when using the given microphone? When I do digital modes I get the full 10 watts no problem.

try a different mic element. They are less than a dollar. Have had failures with the components.

Check the polarity of the mic cartridge. One leg is connected to the case, that should be your ground connection
