David,

I didn't hear the Bitx40 part of your CQ call until we finished our QSO and you started calling CQ again.  That was my first contact with my Bitx40.  You were fading pretty badly here.

I give up if its not gators its some random AM station from god knows where......sigh guess I'll try again later.

Great stuff I had ya for a few then same here dropped hard on my end. I did the AGC mod today so still getting use to it I guess, being deaf on one side maybe the agc wasn't the best idea hihi. Just happy adjusting R134 to 3/4 from 1/2 worked to boost my mic and got me out a bit more.

Thanks for trying and happy to work other qrpers anytime I love this part of the hobby. Wit over watt!

I was running my hardrock 50 but what what can ya do with not so good bands.

I'm going to be calling on 7.2500 for the next half hour. Seem quiet. Still trying for my first QSO.

I could hear N9ARZ, but the band must be broken between Atlanta, GA and Spiceland, IN.

Too much chatter on this freq. I'll have to restring my antenna an point it North tomorrow.

Didn't hear a blessed thing on my mcHF SDR on that frequency. I DID hear some PSK activity on 7.070, though I didn't make any contacts there.

I always wanted one of those. I called for about an hour but with some random AM stations and some other 1KWers I stopped after a while.

Just wish my CQ times were better, I am dealing with some bad RFI 12 hours a day and kids goto bed soon after the RFI stops for the day.

Will be on again tomorrow night around 7:30 pm est

Unfortunately I get the single email with all the updates and it comes the next day. Would you be able to post a day ahead of time when you will be on. We just finished out BitX40 day before yesterday and would love to listen to you. Thanks, Joy

it would be convenient if we had an echolink node just for real- time bitx contacts and troubleshooting....
