ubitx 6.2 bench calibration frequencies?
Note there is no exact number that applies to all as the crystal filter uses real crystals and they vary from lot to lot. What that mes is for the BFO one guy has it right a 11.05552mhz and the next o

ubitx 6.2 bench calibration frequencies?
the earlier V3 and maybe 4 used 12.000 mhz crystals in the filter for a 11.995ish BFO. The latter version used 11.059mhz so the BFO (clk-0) would be about 3-4khz lower than that maybe around 11.055ish

Bob, Mounting from the back side was only part of a complete mod. Do only partial and you get poor result. Basically for that iteration a half fast fix was not a fix at all. See the wiki for the fix a

Opposite side band rejection ubitx V6
I got to play with a bunch of them last year and the result... The filters vary enough that a good one can easily exceed 40db and the average was 35db. One I hand optimized the filter did hit 45dB. Ov

The 2N2219 is physically bigger same Die inside so yes, you can use either. I specified the smaller can 2n2222A as most would be easily bothered by large transistor and small space. Neither case heat
