Easy Bitx Bandpass filter. How wide is normal?
Thanks for the information. I have returned the signal generator (off brand) that I got from Amazon that was DOA. Will check out the links to the Nano VNA and see what I can find there. Thanks to all.

Easy Bitx Bandpass filter. How wide is normal?
I was wondering if the Nano VNA would graph it out. I ordered a signal generator which arrived yesterday DOA, and has already been sent back. I need to take a look at the Nano Vna. Thanks.

Easy Bitx Bandpass filter. How wide is normal?
Disclaimer!!! I have no idea what I'm doing, but it sure is fun anyway. Does anyone have a clue as to the bandwidth of the bandpass filter on a Bitx40 or Easy Bitx? My breadboard version looks to be a

A big shout out to those that got me lined out on the crystal filter for the Easy Bitx. I finally got to the point of powering it with the VFO/BFO connected. I don't have the BPF parts yet, so I conne

Crystal filter question. Easy Bitx
There are some pretty amazing engineers, and technicians in this group, that go above and beyond. I started this project because I knew I could use the learning experience. Thanks for the help.

Does a crystal filter pass audio frequencies? I am working on an Easy Bitx board and following the steps from the inkits website. I am at the end of step 6 where it says the following about testing...

BITX Schematic
Its been a long time since I built the bitx40, but when I did, I saved the schematic to a file and sent that to a commercial printing company. I think I got 3 copies on huge paper for somewhere around

Quick question
The Koss cs100 has an electret element and works well. I have one that I have used. Someone else on this board put me on to it. They are now about $20, but not long ago were much cheaper.

Being 1khz off is not "normal". It needs master calibration adjusted, NOT BFO CALIBRATION. Mine is hardly ever 10 cycles off.

It appears to me that your rig is coming up in transmit. I would take a look at the line for the CW key. Maybe something is not right with the 4.7k resistor that is supposed to be connected, or maybe

I too was wondering the same thing. I would think if you are using a resonant mono-band antenna, or using a tuner to tune the antenna that the harmonics measure at the output would have an even less c

I just added 3 extension switches to my uBITX last week with ver 1.08 and all worked well. I did select the 5 sec delay, and I did make a small wiring change just to make wiring more convenient for me

Used the stock mic element. Added the wind screen. I think 10 for 5 bucks from Amazon or ebay.
