Did something break, and what should I check?
I'm new with the uBITX, too, so I'm no expert. Just some initial thoughts. Regarding WSPR, what you describe doesn't necessarily sound unusual to me. I've got a WSPRLite from SotaBeams and I've had si

uBITX +12V Fuse: 0.5 amp or 5 amp?
#ubitx
@Curt: Yeah, two fuses is probably overkill in my case. I don't anticipate running the PA at a higher voltage, but you never know. I've already cut the holes in my case for two fuse holders, though, a

uBITX +12V Fuse: 0.5 amp or 5 amp?
#ubitx
@Mark: Ok. Thanks. I kind of suspected it was a typo. Five amps sounded a bit out of place for the +12V line given that 2-3 amps is recommended for the PA PWR line. Now, about that diode... :-)

I just wanted to verify the recommended fuse value for the +12V line on the uBITX. The latest wiring diagram, "Wiring Diagram Ubitx V5 V2.0.pdf", shows the fuse as "5 amp Fast Blow" (see lower left of

I recently wired up my uBITX. I've attached a photo that shows how I wired up the DC socket with some fuses. I used two fuses: one 0.5 A fuse for the main board (red wire) and one 2.0 A fuse for the P
