Steve I use an LC network to load a 55 foot end-fed wire for an original BITX, and for my uBITX. The inductor is a roller coil from an ARC-5 transmitter. This with a Stockton bridge for SWR management

I'm just curious about what everyone uses for an antenna tuner if they even use one. I got one of the N7DDC ATU's did the QRP Mod and it got fried at field day. Since it came with a really nice case I

Frank, There is a low pass filter in the transceiver as shipped from HFSignals. This is set to reject any frequencies above 30MHz, so if it is an FM station, then a high pass BCI filter will not help.

Mark see the attachment, might be the FM Broadcast station near you. If not that one, listen for a while to see what the station ID is. You probably need a broadcast filter. Good luck. Frank KG9H

Mark If you haven't performed BFO calibration you won't have a working radio. Whether this 7s the only problem is unknown. A short piece of wire should bring some ham signals on 3.5 or 7 MHz particula
