Last weekend, the IARU R1 50 MHz contest took place and I thought it was a nice moment to show the performance of my 6 mtr transceiver as well as the activity. I made a small video about this: https:/

Thanks, however, alle credits to you Ashar! Torroids I used are in the bandpassfilter but could of course also be done without toroid core. 50 MHz are not too many windings. The IF is 12 MHz. Activity

Thank you for your kind words. It is all experimental, no kit or so. In fact, it was the intention to change some modules afterwards but still not needed. Parts of schematics will be shown in the vide

Chris, You have made a wonderful radio! Did you find any opening on 50 MHz of late? You must add CW to it. It would be interesting to see the complete schematic. It appears that you didn't use any tor

The problem is that the Bitx40 (as referenced in the subject of this thread) only does 40m, so a transverter with a 28MHz IF would not work.

Would 7mhz be too low as an IF for a transverter for 2m? What about 6m? Im thinking 130mhz (LO - IF) might be too close to desired RF of 144. 14MHZ separation at 144mhz only 10% difference. Obviously

We've had some discussion about moving the uBitx up into VHF. Conclusion seemed to be that the best bet would be to run it at 30mhz and use one of the Ukranian transverters. The FM thing came up then,
