The V5 was basically the same as the V6, but delivered with a 2-line LCD. I suspect you could use OEM software or the KD8CEC version for the V5 and have it work OK. I think electrically the main board

The printed cases do weigh a surprising amount for what they are, but it's not as heavy as I'd like. I suspect rubber feet is all it needs, but we will see. I could make a spot to glue weights in the

I also still need to try coating the inside of the enclosure with copper/aluminum tape for RF-proofing. Forget that, its messy and unless you bond every layer to each other it does more harm than good
