Compiling and uploading uBITX firmware

Have you loaded the libraries? The full error message would be useful. Here is a short write up on the process. This refers to Allards, PE1NWL's code for the Bitx40, but the process is similar. http:/

Michael Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try the .1 uF cap first. The power is always on to my filter. The first time I wired it, I tied the AF filter output to the line to the audio connector. Big mi

I suspect a problem in the wires going to the volume control. If you look at the schematic those wires carry a weak AF signal that then goes to the final AF amplifier. Any electronic noise picked up f

Am I correct that the suggestion is to take a leaded 470 uf electrolytic capacitor and attach it over surface mount C50 with the + side facing the trace to R50?

I used a generic set of male-female jumpers like this on my uBitx and it seems to work well. I taped the sides of the connectors together on both ends to keep everything aligned.

I traced it down to a DC ground loop. When the uBitx is grounded, the power supply line current reading dropped. If I put an ammeter in the ground line I got a current reading equal to the power line
