MPJA Items on Sale (includes LM-386 pkg of 10)
Thanks for the advice, Bob. I'm looking forward to putting it together. I like kits a lot. I'm hoping to put this in an old Heathkit station monitor cover since I got the basic kit. Will B AF7EC

The uBitx v6 documents don't show how the control harness is wired up (it should!), I assume there are some pullups to +5v on the pins to PTT, encoder. The resistors for the keyer pin is at A6 are esp

Weird CAT behavior in SSB mode change
Hi Reed, I don't know why you reordered the calls in setup(), but for me when initPorts(); is after Display and touch setup - arduino freezes, when I activate A6 and A7 as INPUT in initPort(). Placing

I know on the schematic that all of the analog pins are used on the Nano in the v6, so more than just a keyer would probably be a good idea... It would be possible to add a cheap ADC to the pi without

QUESTION for All - EASY BITX - HP 2800 series Schottky Diodes for Mixer
Loris, A few more comments on Easy Bitx mixers and BiDi amps. The Easy Bitx uses 1n4148 diodes in the diode ring mixer, they would perform best with around 14dBm of power at the local oscillator port

RF POWER OSCILLATION
Hi, I'm cleaning up the stains on the garage floor right now. But, I will test in CW, really a good idea, thanks. 73's PY2PVB Rubens Em sex., 15 de jan. de 2021 às 11:02, Curt via groups.io <wb8yyy=ya

Interesting. I found that the RPi / cable worked fine with both Linux and Mac, but not Windows. 73, Mark, N8ME

That was another approach I considered, using the stock Arduino to control the radio but provide an enhanced CAT interface and connecting the Pi over CAT. 73, Mark, N8ME

With the V6, isn't the only use of an analog input is for the keyer input? Couldn't that could be handled using two digital inputs? 73, Mark, N8ME

Rubens I see the amplitude changing on the power indicator within another transceiver on ft8, so I wonder if the simple indicator is not following the modulation. I concur with Evan to have you evalua

RF POWER OSCILLATION
Rubens, My first thought would be to verify that I see the power fluctuations in the CW mode. That would help in isolating between the RF power amplifier section and the IF/Audio sections of the radio

s-meter function on V6 1.2 CEC firmware and Nextion 2.8 display
Dennis, Yes, You need to modify the v6 software to be able to display it or change the screen to a Nextion and implement the KD8CEC software The link to the v6 conversion is on ubitx.net: http://ubitx

You could use a Raspberry Pi Zero for this but I am not convinced that is the best option. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. The Raspberry Pi is basically like a normal computer so
