okayJohn, i had the same problems. Mic wasn't working, and the freq was out totaly wrong. Get many tips from guys who are a lot better with elektronics then me. But, after calibrate serveral times....

As you probably know, you should have your scope probes on the 10x setting, not 1x. Will do a lot better at high frequencies. If your dummy load is something small like a 5 Watt resistor, you can get

Rafael Also possible your 40m dip is real, as my v4 had this problem. I am not trusting my memory, but there is a capacitor in the driver network that in rare cases needs adjustment to get over 5 watt

Ok... New development. So I haven't checked voltages yet. I did notice however that's the antenna jack shows as a dead short on my vom? Is that normal? I thought it was my coax but it shows continuity
