Re: KD8CEC Firmware S-Meter usage
Yes, J1 and NOT j2.
Anyway , the circuits works very well for AGC and the s-meter function.
Thanks for it and K5BCQ for putting the kit together at his cost.

I used a .22ufd but it is not critical so near anything close will work.

Mark
Maybe your S-Meter is good.
It is a circuit composed of about 4 parts and it will work if only the power is connected well.
Depending on the voltage measurement method, the value may not

Re: Transmitter Mods
Thanks for the input, guys! I was working with no magnification and "regular" soldering tools. Sounds like the right equipment would open up a whole new world! .....:) Will follow up.

Re: CB amplifiers RM-Italy KL203P
On their website you can download the schematic. They are a bit obscure on the mosfets, it seems they are four MS1307. As said they lack of any lowpass filters so as such they do not comply to the FCC

I use the CTE Booster 747 amplifier modified like this : www.radioamatoripeligni.it/i6ibe/pdf/cte747.pdf
It works well , up to 80w on 40meters . I only need some ebay hf lpf's .

Re: Transmitter Mods
Not many of us need to use 0201's.
Thank goodness.
It's like working with grains of salt from the salt shaker.
For hobby work down to 0603's (half the size of the uBitx's 1206 parts),

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that someone on the board has advised that you should cycle the radio off and on each time you calibrate the BFO so that the setting "takes". Not sure if that's true or

Sounds like I need to get my 6 meter transverter built, put my tower up, and put up a beam.
