I wasn't responding to John. The one I responded to, #40373, was on the same thread, and contained the quote that I posted. When I saw his post, I responded (#40375) . John jumped on me seven posts

I dig it Mike, well done, clean layout! I'm guessing it will be quite a chore to keep up to date regardless, I hope it doesn't burn you out... The volume of messages on this mailing list is at least

Initially I was against starting other groups that focus on the BITX phenomena, but after seeing your web site
and what you are doing with it I am having second thoughts. Your approach

Re: uBITx.net website
Here's my unsolicited 0.02 USD.
Rename the Groups.io group to "bitx" (this is possible through the settings i think), create subgroups for each radio in the bitx family (bitx20, bitx40, ubitx, etc),

BitX40 Encoder
Does the Bitx40 come with a pot or an encoder? I just got mine a few days ago and have a 10k pot, yet the wiring instructions talk about an encoder. I'd expect the Raduino to use an encoder.
Thanks

Re: BitX40 Encoder
I misread the wiring instructions. It appears that the Bitx40 comes with a pot and that you can add an encoder with other firmware loaded into the Arduino.
