The problem is -- DigiKey charges quite a bit for
international shipping on small orders. The thing to
do would be for a hobbyist on this side to send "gift"
sized quantities to the Netherlands.

I don't know the exact customs or VAT regulations off
the top of my head, but it would certainly be much
cheaper to send a hundred over via air letter post,
and then have somebody in the EU parcel them out.

One Netherlands ham quoted a $33 shipping bill for
this small a quantity....

I am not sure the tuning range, I think it was 14.350 to around 14.1
MHz. Power output on my unit was 8w peak with 12v, over 10w peak with
13.8v. Beyound that compression starts to set in. I think Arv has
pushed his to 18w with a lot of compression which is not recommended.

I have notes that show the sensitivity of my unit at -121 dBm (3 db
S/S+N). I think Jim measured his at -129 dBm.

The PCB itself is 5" x 3.5". In metric that is 12.7 cm x 8.9 cm. It
is a fairly compact layout, which includes the two MOSFET push-pull
IRF511 power amplifier on the board.

kit from doug that way. something in doug's system, or
maybe at yahoo, must think it is the end of a sentence
and add a space after the dot when he posts its. its
only a problem if you try and cut and paste the
address and don't notice to remove the extra space.

All I have is the re-drawn schematic (possibly with a missing cap). I
checked via Google and cannot find a web site for PA0HUY. There was
one, but that was probably at least a year or more ago.
I built the circuit that long ago as well, and no longer have the rig I
