Stan,
Instructions were written prior to the added current draw of the TFT display.
Yes, set the bias for 100mA increase like Raj and and instructions said.

I’m using the instructions at https://www.hfsignals.com/index.php/ubitx-tuneup/ which is essentially what you have in your post, Raj, except for one detail. These instructions say with RV2 and RV3

Raj,
You’re right, I don’t have eyes in front of holes.
Looking at your diagram, it’s actually simple. It’s like a diagram avoids long speeches.
thank you.

Yes there was a resistor change in the mic amp that increases the drive level and offhand I can’t remember what value and which one it was. My notes are in storage I’ll have to dig them out. There

Re: Ubitx V4 - What is RV4 supposed to do?
That's what I thought it was. The previous owner has it turned all the way up and I'm only getting about 4 watts on 40m.
I've ordered the 2N2222a metal cans, so will see how that helps before I go

One other question: Is it necessary to recalibrate frequency and BFO after installing the N8ME firmware, or is the original calibration retained?
Thanks
