sBITx - SDA/SCL query…
I’m attempting to understand the I2C pinout arrangements… is the audio codec running on different I2C bus to the Si5351?
The schematic for the Codec clearly defines SDC (SCL) as GPIO3 (I2C SCL1)

Raj,
May you put a simply schematic.
On the V6, i think it's K3, but pins have not the good numbers.
And Q90 is powered by TX.

Re: Q90 Protection
K3 pin 11 to ground parallel opposite back to back 1N4148 should do the trick.
This is RX input line and should take care of Q90.

Q90 Protection
Hello,
I read somewhere:
"fit the 2 back to back diodes to protect Q90"
Where? Base Emetter? or other.
A simply diagram please

Re: Ubitx V4 - What is RV4 supposed to do?
RV4 is the VOLUME control and in the diagram clip what you havehighlighted is RV1 the power lever set preset.
RV4 is not shown in your V4 diagram.

Ok, I see your idea, Sigi. Very good. When I burnt the trace I was using an ordinary 20a 13.8v switching supply. Now I have the radio on my workbench and I’m using an adjustable current limiting

hi Howard,
The answer is no, there is not enough room in the KD8CEC firmware to allow for the screen painting that the stock display requires. The KD8CEC firmware works with one of the text displays
