Wanted: uBITX v5 (unfinished)
Does anyone have a uBITX v5 kit, unfinished, that they are not interested in completing? I'd like to build a "twin" to my existing uBITX v5. Would rather use a v5 than a v6 due to the extra

Re: Problems with Teensy losing HID port connection
Really good point Gary! Never thought of that one as I always have shut off all power saving routines on my desktop computers and that’s the only computer(s) I use for programming.

Re: Problems with Teensy losing HID port connection
Dennis,
Could it be an issue with your USB ports in power saving mode?
I run a handful of USB Jlink debuggers in an experimental setting, they are powered from the target board (so I can power down/

Re: Problems with Teensy losing HID port connection
I don’t have a specific one, just make sure it is a data cable, not a phone charging cable which only has power &ground connections.

Re: Problems with Teensy losing HID port connection
PJRC sells a good one. I too have no issue with the teensy 4.1 and win 10 running 1.8.13.

"I've had USB cables fail numerous times, especially with cheap ones ordered off Amazon, especially after they have been plugged and unplugged many times."
OK, can you give me a supplier/part number

I can confirm the Win10 update a couple of days ago and I'm having no problems with my T4.1.

Re: Problems with Teensy losing HID port connection
One other possibility that I have run into before -- change your USB cable. It may be there is a problem in the cable itself. I've had USB cables fail numerous times, especially with cheap ones

Re: WA2EBY AMP Question
I was wondering what it looked like with the eyelets. They weren't included when I built my amp. Thanks for the picture.

Re: Problems with Teensy losing HID port connection
This occurs both when I am using the V6 Clone board (powered with 12VDC and the jumper cut) and with boards that do not have a cut jumper. OR, I have become like Joe Btfsplk from the Lil Abner comic

Re: Problems with Teensy losing HID port connection
One more possibility Dennis, if you have cut that tiny jumper on the back of the Teensy (either 4.0 or 4.1), you need to have the teensy plugged into the Raduino (clone or factory board with the 4.0

Re: Problems with Teensy losing HID port connection
I seldom get hung. Pressing the reset button on the T4.1 always worked for me.

To reiterate - I have tried three different WIN10 computers and four different Teensy 4.1 boards. I have tried to get answers from the PJRC forum but they all recommend the very things I have
