Did you not read my posts all the way. I thought that was what I said the person should do. Besides, KD8CEC and Nextions don't work with the V6 Raduino which uses an ILI9341 TFT Touch

With the 16x2 display the LM7805 was warm. Upgrade to a sexy 4.3 Nextion and the LM7805 was all nuclear core.
Still. I suspect it would have served and suffered in silence for years and years.

Most computers, tablets, phones, etc have a delete function. Mine gets a lot of use and after more than 10 years of beating on it I find that it still works.

Ted: Thanks. This is a Bitx40. The SWR is only an LED, but I Also get a flash with an induction coil in the antenna feed line. The flash is momentary even if I hold PTT and shout into mike.

Raj: Thanks so much for the reply. The mic polarity is correct and the Mike functions well when tested on other equipment.

I used shielded cable to and from the filter, board situated on left hand side of main board between the main board and the case side. I also used the soyabeans lm386 amp circuit with balanced inputs
