I have my basic ubitx working nicely, i just wish the cw filtering was a bit (lot) better. What is the best way to improve the cw filtering and narrow it down. Dave c

I found the 3.5" TFT at the amateurradiokits website.
You have to go to "My Account" dropdown (Orange Button)
Depending on the login state you may have to login.
There you will find a "downloads"

Re: 5w on 40 meters
I've seen a few that had the wrong parts (inductors were obvious) installed for
the 40M filter.

Albert!
I took the 2.3 inch from another listing an rewrote it for the 3.5. Not quite right.
Found it and downloaded it and I'm about to try your suggestion, "ubitx_35_basic.tft."
Let you know.

Thanks Allison. I measured 40m band LPF inductors were almost measuring 0.9nH and I haddepended on the accuracy of sch and reduced turns.

Albert!
OK, that works. I don't like it as much as the ones that are smaller, but it does work.
Looks like I have a lot to learn here. Thanks for helping me get started.

Re: Fan Noise from amateurradiokits case kit

Mine do exactly the same. Filtering with ferrite beads etc, no luck.
It may be a great improvement on the case, but another problem on the kit.
Still love it, just set mine aside for a later time.

What I mind the 15 - 20 posts arguing about who is more righteous than thou.
That, I consider spam.
