Re: Kit-Projects AGC volume high
I would recommend adding a 10ohm resistor between that just for protection/current limiting on the input to the AGC's amplifier. HOWEVER yes that seems to be the fix for most of the issues we have

I just connected the V pad from the AGC to TP21 in between Q74 and R70 and it seems to be working. The level is constant at this point, and does not vary with the volume pot....

Re: Kit-Projects AGC volume high
The only thing I can think of is that the varying impedance is causing it to allow more current to the AGC circuit. The fix we have been suggesting for the V4 might help here. If you have an ~10ohm

The changes made by the screen change the nano memory ?? The frequency displays correct and changes with the encoder, but that is almost the extent of what the screen seems to change. Have reloaded

I can, but still no change anywhere is accepted when press ent or other key for acceptance of change made, I suspect the nextion may be bad ...
thanks

Re: uBITX TX wattage
all kinds of things may be in play --
a. being conservative in 'specs' aka typical values
b. a different arrangement of the relays to get lower harmonic leakage
c. an added 45 MHz LC filter to reduce

Hi Chuck,
Some items in the menu require additional hardware. Can you populate the cw info in the cw menu?

Re: N6DT AGC and S-meter
Hi Rick,
I’m having the exact same problem and have made the same mistake as you (loaded the -s version).
When you reloaded the correct firmware did you just reload it with xloader?
thanks,
joel

Re: LinAmp
Correction:
I meant IRF-510 and for the heatsink, I meant an old Pentium III Slot 1 type (still sold new for cheap on ebay and they have relatively quiet fans usually).
Cheers and 73,
Mark.

Re: µBITX V5 build complete (for now)
Yeah, it makes firmware tweaks super-easy, plus I plan on doing a lot of FT8. Since these pics, I've found that some laptops - but not all - can cause noise on the USB line that gets into the uBITX.

Hadn't thought about bringing the USB outside of the case, great idea.

Re: LinAmp
Hmm,
I don't know what would be unsafe about running the finals at higher voltage. That is how most IRF510 amps are run. Keep to the voltage below 28v and I think they would be pretty durable.
