I did that. It's why the w0eb software works. I picked the
LiquidCrystal_I2C lcd() line using 0x3f for the lcd address.

You've gotta set the address for the I2C controller right first. Use the scanner to make sure you have the right address....

I'm thinking power supply issues. Have you tried using a 12v battery?
Good luck! And post how you resolved your issues.

Was your blown TDA2822 a WX brand part?
No reports here yet of other than the WX clones blowing on a uBitx.
And they blow for pretty much no reason when powered from 12v.
The WX might be safe enough

I haven't heard any further discussion on this.
Are we in compliance with FCC at 22-28 db down on the second harmonic?

Yep, that's true. Thanks for noting that. The preamp isn't however.
That needs to be checked.

Jack,
When I made the changes Bill outlines and uploaded to the nano it
doesn't work.
Could it be the lcd() function need to be changed to what you show?
I'll change to your suggestion and see if

I did the same thing and it compiled. But when I updoaded it to the
nano I just get a lot of buzzing in the speaker and I can even hear it
in my main radio.
I'm going to try John's version and see

I'm probably not going to be able to be on for the afternoon session, but should be on this evening! That means conditions should be fantastic this afternoon! LOL!
