No worries! Thank my partner David who does all the real heavy lifting!!! I hope some switch shennagins aside you found the install pleasant/easy enough. That was the goal with the layout. Just make it work Also no idea why my last message got bolded weirdly. This website confuses me sometimes and I'm a spring chicken who is supposed to understand this stuff HIHI.

Feel free to reach out here or shoot us an email if you have anything else/technical you need always glad to help! @Dennis Zabawa and Loris some additional info for you the circuit is very similar to ND6Ts actually its only a few minor changes! Just slaped in a new form factor. http://www.nd6t.com/uBITX/AGC.htm Most importantly however ALL the switch does is change the value of R6 Its setup to flip in a few different resistance values and also a short to ground to turn it "off", Sadly this also has the effect of turning off S-Meter output as its just a tap to the bias voltages of one of the attenuation stages!

okay

pretty cool.  I did my duty and did the survey, then I knew I had been thinking about the book on HF propagation (I already have EMRFD).  I dunno - me thinks the arrl store just logs you in, and takes the code - nice that someone told us the code in case someone comes up empty after the survey.  I think the arrl just is seeking some covid era cashflow as other non-profits and other radio orgs around the globe.

The original video works with the new software, you just need to adjust for the new controls and ignore the VTVM.

Re: Help for an appliance operator

Jim,
I would have you start with the video on the Antuino page:
https://www.hfsignals.com/index.php/antuino/

It is towards the bottom after the explanation on the menu items.

Based on your description, I will assume that you have the new 2.2 version of the software.  That is similar to the operation of the original 2.1, however, there are two differences:
1 - It will scan the frequencies requested through the Freq and Span settings, with the start being 1/2 of the span before the frequency setting.
2 - A voltmeter was added IF you go in and add the probe to the unused Nano pin.  (I do not use it, so not sure on the details to add it).  I just ignore that part of the screen as I have multiple better instruments to measure voltage.

The controls are slightly different, though not by much.  Instead of PLOT you select and press the encoder on OK to start scanning.

Please read the above page, view the video, and then get back to this group if you have any questions.

Help for an appliance operator

James Carroll <jimcarroll@...>

Hello

I ordered an Antuino thinking I would have an SWR meter to help tune a random wire antenna.

Right now, I don't understand anything about the Antuino.

The first thing that puzzles me is an item on the fifth line of the display that is labeled "VTVM" and a number with several decimal places that changes so frequently that the LCD shows a blur with an occasional recognizable digit.  Before I pack it up and return it, I would like to figure out what is going on.

Any ideas?  Is there a URL for an explanation of this?

THanks.

This weekend from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening (from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm Central) I will be using my uBITX V6 to activate Route 66 On The Air. My location will be at Stroud, OK (About halfway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa) right next door to the iconic and historic Rock Cafe  I will be using the call sign W6J
I will not be the only one operating since it is a club event but I will try to let you know what freq and mode. So far it has been mostly 20 and 40 meters and SSB and FT8.

What do you call this connector, and where do I get its counterpart?

Re: uBITX documentation error of Kit-Projects AGC

Hello Tim,

I am one of the many "satisfied OM" with the AGC kit-projects on a uBITX-V6 !!!
I have already prepared a modification to the softwre version 6.3.1 with the addition of the visualization of the level of S in input and of the relative-power in output, I just have to optimize the parameters for a correct visualization with the instruments of my laboratory, when I'm finished I will publish the changes to the software listing (if all goes well there are still more than 800 BYTE of memory space).

Thanks Tim for the work done!

Hi,I have uploaded the gerber files of v2 in the files section. Here https://groups.io/g/BITX20/files/Raduino32/Gerber_Raduino32-PCB%20v2_2020-09-17_20-34-24.zip

Or searching "Raduino32".

They have record of who took the survey by call sign.  The code did not transfer properly to their sales site and I did not think to write down the code, but they were willing to email it.

Hi Ramon do we have to register to access the file? Can you send the via mail or drpobox? Does  the gerber file Referring to v2?
Very impressive work

Hi, Guenter,

At the moment I do not sell the PCB, but if you want one I can send it to you by mail for its cost, I can send you the Gerber files or you can access here https://easyeda.com/join?type=project&key=a8d2bf85b3e9d548adddbda5e663226d. It is public.

I am going to place a new order with version 2, because version 1 had some errors (they can be fixed by cutting some tracks and making some bridges). I will order 5 PCBs version 2. If anyone is interested I can order more.

About compilation, I could help you. You can send me the list of errors or, better, if you have Teamviewer installed I could connect me to your PC and try to fix it. Preferably, using Uecide.

Regards,
Ramón
