The KD8CEC software does not really have the "factory defaults" as far as I know. The values that I get when resetting to them are totally wrong. I have not worked out the logic on what is being saved. When you first open the Memory Manager software without a file selected/loaded, the factory defaults button is greyed out. Here is a screenshot of the Memory Manager for my v5:
