Good Morning Partners,

Bottom Line: 

Marginal Risk (1 on a scale from 0-5) for Severe Thunderstorms is in effect for north and central Georgia. Thunderstorms are expected to move through North and Central Georgia from southwest to northeast through the afternoon and into the late evening. The primary threat is for damaging wind gusts and hail.

Monday Afternoon & Monday Night:

  • There's a MARGINAL RISK (1 on a scale from 0-5) for severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening.  
  • What:  Strong to Severe Thunderstorms possible.
  • When: Primarily between 3 PM Wednesday - 4 AM Tuesday morning.
    • Macon Area: ~3 PM - 10 PM
    • Atlanta Area: ~6 PM - 11 PM
    • Athens Area: ~8 PM - Midnight
  • Where: Areas of North and Central Georgia.

    • Damaging Winds (Main Threat) - Damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph possible.
