Beautiful route, cool weather, and great food!

Hi  All,

Pedal and Spoke got back to me. Extra info for you all.   There will be no paper Q sheet this year. Once registration closes, a Ride with my GPS route will be available, along with address to Taco restaurants.
The route should be very similar to last year.

The majority of route is bike path.  There is a stretch from Aurora to Wheaton that is crushed lime stone. This section is very compacted at this point. even if it's wet, should be okay. Just be careful around corners.
I was told a road bike should work.

This is basically a ride with your friends and getting tacos along the way.  So if you don't think you will or can eat tacos at all 4 stops, please plan accordingly.   And if you are still hungry after the ride, we can go out for more food.

We need a team captain for each team, because this  person will be the designated person to go in and get food so the restaurants are not over loaded with riders.

Here are the teams so far.  WE NEED 2 MORE FRIENDS TO JOIN.  Our plan is to  register on Friday by noon. Your prompt response is appreciated.

This is a rain or shine event.  Please pay your captain regardless if you ride or not after registration.

#1 (Captain Lena)
Carol, Lena, Patti, Anna

#2( Captain Jin)
Jin, Brad, Tom C,

#3( Captain Dejan)
Dejan, Stacey B., Mark,

Thanks everyone,

Guys,

Sunday’s looking like a cool day with a slight chance of rain.  We will meet at Wilmot high school entrance and be ready to ride out by 7:30am. Does anyone have any suggestions for Sunday’s ride?

Looking forward to another Harmon Hundred ride.

Rich

Good Morning,

Eldridge, Greg, Ken and myself are the four riders from the club showing interest in riding this years Harmon Hundred. I will point out that five days out it’s looking cool and wet for Sunday something we’ll
keep an eye on. Let’s get an agreeable start time for the group if we are going to ride together! I’m good with a 7-7:30am start time, please let us know your thoughts?

Thanks,

Tuesday Night Hilly Ride - Need ride leader

Sheri Rosenbaum

Good morning
Heading up to Trek HQ this morning for the Women's Advocate Summit (get to order another bike!!). I wont be able to lead the hilly ride tomorrow or next week. I think that's it for me leading the hilly ride until next season... May 2020. It's been a blast and appreciate everyone who came out. Great group of riders.

See you on the road soon
Sheri

You were hauling!!! How long did you stay at rest stop? Probably didn’t even get off your bike?😉

I see a sub 5  Century challenge coming for next year!

Have a good recovery,

I haven't registered yet, but I'm planning to do the classic century. I just did my first century ride yesterday at the Harmon 100. It was fun and I didn't feel too tired. I'm not as fast as the majority (if not all :) )of you. My pace was only around 16 mph in yesterday's ride.

I will be happy to join you guys next week, but I don't want anyone to have to wait for me during the ride. I'm pretty independent, though, so I don't mind to be left behind.

Next Sunday

David Bergen

FYI…we are planning a longer ride option for Sunday’s ride. Preliminary routes of 44 and 84 miles. If there is interest, I can find a 16 mile add-on for those who are interested.

Monday Night Ride - 5:45 - From Flesk Brewery

David Bergen

 Monday Night Ride – 5:45 - From Flesk Brewery.... +/- 25 miles

Note : This is a Monday night ride…slower pace than the Tues/Thursday Ride. A good recovery ride for those who rode hard this weekend

Our route will take us by the church at 6:05 in case you are running late
