The past years there has been monthly summer car shows at Kings
Village Shopping Center. This year they are only having 2 events and
one special get together in August. Besides hot rods there are many
other cars shown there. In the past I have shown my Honda Sports
cars, there has been Sunbeams, Kubelwagen Schwimwagen, Unimogs, Jags,
Renault Caravelle, others.

It's a nice event except for the Boy Scouts hocking raffle tickets
which get real annoying. Because they are having only 2 shows this
year, there should be some interesting stuff. Due to it being a
weeknight event it may be hard for most of the Arcane Group to make
it, but the weekender in August should be better.

Scotts Valley Nostalgia Nights Car show is scheduled on June 20 and
July 18. The show features more then 200 classic cars.

Car registration is $5 per car and spectators are free. All proceeds
go to local youth activities. Registration starts at 5:00 P.M.

Nostalgia Nights is sponsored by The Scotts Valley Host Lions Club in
co-operation with The King's Village Merchants Association and The
Boy Scouts.

Scotts Valley Nostalgia Days at Siltanen Park on Vine Hill School
Road.
Times will be Friday 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
and Sunday
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event will include spectacular carnival
rides, including a 45 foot Ferris wheel, game booths, arts and
crafts, music from the 50's, 60's and 70's, food of all kinds,
motorcycle show on Saturday, classic car show on Sunday, BBQ's,
pancake breakfast and many more fun activities and attractions.
Admission is free.
