Random Car Event

Byron Brill <B_Brill@...>

Great - thanks for the clarification, David. It occurs to me as I write
this that I included nothing on this Yahoo group in the last newsletter
(which was done in about 5 minutes due to the overwhelming number of crises,
conflicts, flu, etc that has been plaguing our family since the annual
meet). I'll rectify that in the next one so we can see if we can punch up
participation - after all, it's probably just be you and me chatting here!

Best,
Byron

Byron,

I just got a note from Jack who had learned that the 19th of May is in
Conflict with an SFRCCC event. The winery, which is intended as a totally
casual and non-club event, will either be canceled or rescheduled. It
sounds like Ruut was very polite, yet firm, when alerting Jack to his
scheduling faux pas.

Greg's information is apt to be quite reliable.

I will let you know when the new date for the winery thingee is.

David

Was very sorry not to have made it to Beemer's, but we were tied up in
Fremont from 10 am to 4:00 pm.

Howdy,

Greg Beemer told me of a Citroen event we were invited to on May 19, but
said it was sort of a poker run starting at Foothill College and heading
over the hills to Santa Cruz. Haven't had time to contact Ruut Vanderhode
to find out details, so I guess I better contact them and see what the
real
program is...

Dear All,

an event is being planned for Sunday May 19th, and ALL funny cars,
Citron, Arcane, etc. are welcome.

If possible it can and should be put in the newsletter and even the Web
Site if anyone is active enough. (Byron, can you forward this to
whomever should get it?)

Date: Sunday, May 19, 2002
Time: 11:30 am till Noon gathering and car parking time 1 PM wine
tasting
Cost: $3/person at the door
Facilities: picnic tables, with table cloths, etc
Event go-to person: Jack Ross (510) 530 0754 cell (408) 425 9889
website: www.retzlaffwinery.com

jack is a Citron person with 1 TA and 2 DS's for commuting. he is a
great guy and has done the set up on this. It is totally open
admission. I have yet to visit the web site of the winery.

Sorry to miss Beemer's tomorrow, but that is what can happen.

David
