Re: 2CV wanted
Depending on how far you want to take it I know Gary Dicks in the UK who
could probably source a car and ship it to you and you'd get more car for
your money than what that price will get here.

2CV wanted
Anyone have, or know of, a later 2CV for sale? My buddy Paul in Portland is looking for a good driver for a friend. One in the $10-12k ballpark would be swell. Prefer a later car with the "big" 602cc

Re: How to fix a Harbor freight 12 ton hydraulic jack
My favorite "fix" for the 12 ton press is to step up for the 12 ton air jack and rig up a foot pedal to operate it. This allows both hands to be used for making setups, and the speed and pressure is

Re: How to fix a Harbor freight 12 ton hydraulic jack
there’s a check valve ball in there and it might have a piece of crud..
otherwise, the seal could be blown and allowing leakage..
New jacks aren’t that

I think he did earlier. If it doesn’t work out with Gerard, I’ll suggest he keep checking.
Thanks,
Larry

Larry,
I have a car trailer I’d consider selling. Size is appropriate for Sprite/Midget, Morris Minor or something similar size. It’s very well balanced, light weight and pulls very straight

Re: How to fix a Harbor freight 12 ton hydraulic jack
Can we assume that it is a conventional bottle jack used in it?
The most obvious possibilities is that it may be low on fluid, or it may have air in it. (which will let it pump up, but not under

Steering wheel restorers
The threads holding the material on my steering wheel is falling apart. Where to folks go to have their wheels repaired?
A local SF Bay Area would be ideal.
