It depends on how you want it to look. To look correct, the original size
would be proper. If it was 500x16, I suspect a 600x16 would look rather
large for the period. That was the size full sized Fords at the time. A
215/70 would be the completely wrong profile, unless you want kind of a
street rod look. For me, white walls would be a bit pretentious on an Austin
10. I suspect they were seldom if ever seen in their time. But, as they
say, de gustibus non est disputandum.
