$220, this group—help!
-=-Can I still donate? Was a bit behind all this!! -=-
If you really want to, I will gratefully accept it. The link is on my main page all the time, resting quietly. :-) But as to the pass-the-hat purpose of the moment, we’re good for now. http://sandradodd.com Center, bottom, there. Thanks. Sandra |

-=-Wow! That was quick! I helped fund raise for two other groups and while we ended up with a bit of surplus it took a few weeks.-=-
My husband doesn’t think I should say so quickly “goal is met,” but it was an actual number, and it seems best to be transparent and forthcoming. :-) People might be more likely to help me next time. I really do appreciate people’s help. Sandra |

Wow! That was quick! I helped fund raise for two other groups and while we ended up with a bit of surplus it took a few weeks. Sandra, I have put on my 2020 to-do list to participate more. Currently figure to be a day late and a dollar short until holiday season over. I love seeing/hearing about your grands. And Keith's continuing health improvement. The way I understood PayPal fees for sending money (in the U.S.) is that you only get charged fees if you use a debit/credit card when you send money or if the recipient invoices the request for money. If you send the money as "family or friends" directly from a PayPal attached Bank Account (not credit/debit card) there shouldn't be any fee. That is how we've been sending money to one of our college-age kids that lives out of state. That would be complicated for someone who doesn't already have the set up, but if an account is already set up that way it would save the approximately 1% fee. The Sandra Dodd email would be the friend. I understand there are a lot of international members of this group. But it's a thought and might save a bit of money for U.S. donors. I did it for the Sandra@... email and it worked.
https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees Sending in the U.S.If you are a U.S. PayPal account holder sending money to a friend or family member who uses PayPal in the U.S., you may pay a fee, depending on how you pay.

It cost $220 to accept the opportunity to move Always Learning here, from where the bridge was collapsing between us and yahoogroups. It worked!
Now I wish for two things. Maybe five.
One, I hope people will start posting more, again.
Two, the bill will come for that payment soon. :-) If 220 of you send me a dollar, the paypal fees will eat a bunch of it up. So maybe 22 of you could send me $10.
Probably 24 would need to, to cover fees and still pay for the first year. THIS IS DONE! Thanks for the help!
There's a link to click in the bottom center at http://sandradodd.com
or if you're good with PayPal yourself, it's Sandra@... Sandra at SandraDodd dot com (it's not showing the whole address; sorry)
I will gratefully accept any help, and if you pay in your own currency, paypal will switch it out for us. (If a check/cheque is more your style, the address is below.)
If you have the urge but not the cash, here are the #3 and #4 possibilities (forget #5; I miscounted)
I like Christmas cards. If you're going to send some anyway, please slip me onto your list

An old, used Christmas card would be okay. :-)
I like to stick them on the wall and admire them.
If you don't celebrate Christmas at all and the whole idea irritates or offends you, maybe send me a card someone sent you! Or send a post card of wildlife near your house, or of a sailing ship, or local art. You know post cards. That too, could be an old used one.
I could use photos for Just Add Light and Stir. They should only have people in your family, or people you can get permission from. They don't need people at all. I do need the name of the photographer to credit. They should be something that looks good small, that has to do with those topics I write about (or quote about) there, and uplifting and inspiring. I'd rather have one or two clear good ones than ten "you pick" because there's time and energy involved, and I don't want to feel guilty for rejecting photos from nice people. Send them to the same address as the paypal account.
You could randomly poke around here to get a refresher on what kinds of photos seem to work best, and you'll probably see some that meke you think yours are way better; that's cool. :-)
OH! #5! Post here. :-)
There should be WAY more posts than donations, cards or photos.
Thank you very much for being here, and for considering sending me assistance or images of one sort or anotherl
Sandra
