MESSAGE TO TAKE AWAY
Please note how Mike talks with pride about
- continuing to service all discontinued Alpha Amplifiers,
- not releasing products until development and testing has reached a stage to guarantee quality performance and how cost is not a factor in reaching this high standard,
- contact Mike at the address on 'the Alpha RF Systems' website if you have a problem and he will get your problem sorted.

Do not under value your 87A. It is the American made Top of the line Amplifier which puts out greater than 1,500 watts CW (continuous wave) power CONTINUOUSLY.  Only an Alpha Amplifier puts out this much power CONTINUOUSLY. The HIGH standard is defined by a brick on the key. Other Amplifiers have not achieved any record of achieving this HIGH degree of reliability.

Please have a pride in the value of your 87A.  Please stop the talk about trying to find the lowest possible price.
If you devalue your  Alpha 87A by suggesting the price is going down all you may achieve is people thinking the
value is not there because the device was been developed 30 years ago. Time has already proven the quality is VERY HIGH.

Read the following article to understand HOW quality American Made products hold their value:
The standard 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback retailed for $2,692 in 1967, which is approximately $21,317 if inflation is taken into account. Likewise the Shelby GT350 retailed for $3,995 and the GT500 for $4,195, approximately $31,635 and $33,219 respectively, in terms of today's purchasing power.
However, this level of affordability is not present in today's market as these Mustangs remain highly sought after. ClassicCars.com has several standard Fastbacks listed for sale, in good working condition, starting from about $69K. There are a couple of cheaper ones requiring varying degrees of restoration. Jumping up to the Shelbys, availability declines leading prices to soar, with genuine Shelbys starting just under 180K. Additionally, there are Shelby replicas and other Fastback builds starting at around 75K and reaching over $300K.

The ALPHA 87A  is the Amplifier equivalent of the 1967 Ford Mustang.
When released in 1990 retailed for $US 6,500.  Today with inflation in 2022 that is $US 14,380.
Using the Ford Mustangs increase in value in the market from $22K to 69K
the Alpha 87A at should now have a market vale of of 3 times $14,380 =  $43,000.

Help your Alpha 87A increase in value by telling others how good it is.
