It’s because I was doing it on my iPad, I think, which seems to have the autosave feature, which I couldn’t figure out how to bypass. Probably mostly user error…

Just lost 18 months’ worth of books-read on my excel spreadsheet. $#@*& autosave. Fortunately was able to retrieve most of the titles from Goodreads. Grrrr.
