DCC conversions

Matt Rossman

Hi All,

I figured I’d start a new topic for this, I’ve done a bit of learning and playing with my own stuff over the past year or so of having DCC and I wanted to offer up some help if anyone may want it.
(And I know there are some deals to be had today on decoders)

I have completed quite of few engine decoder conversions and wanted to provide some basic services of conversions to the club.

I’ve mainly done drop in boards and minimal soldering in Kato, older Atlas engines (CN-GP style), and Life-Like. Even though some are on the simplistic side it is a bit intimidating opening up the shell to service them.

I have done a few science experiments (digital bullet train full board conversions), but I have enough of my own for now and not looking for more.

So, if this sounds interesting to anyone, give me a shout in what you’re looking for, buy the parts, and bring them to GTE (or send me a message and we can arrange for drop off) and I can help convert some of your engines.
