Annual meeting summary
Geoff Dunn
This is a summary of today's annual meeting.
Eight of us were in attendance for the whole meeting, and two were there for about half.
Rod gave a treasurer's report. We have money, but expenses from Groups.io and the website have reduced our balance. We got payment from one show last year and we're looking whether another show paid us.
We voted on the proposed changes to the by-laws. Everything was approved, with a minor change to one line. I will update the by-laws and post them on the Groups.io site.
We tried to elect new officers. We had no candidates for President. The motion was proposed to remove term limits from the by-laws and allow the current officers to remain. That passed. Matt Rossman was elected as VP, replacing Mark. I (Geoff) remain as president, despite a feeling that I'm not as effective as would be hoped, and Rod remains as treasurer.
We also made a change to require an election within three months if an officer leaves office.
We will start collecting dues again - $10 for the year. Send a check to Rod or hand it to Rod or me at a show in November or December. Make sure I write it down as I'm prone to forgetting things.
We talked about train shows -
Poughkeepsie on October 30th - talk to Mark if you want to bring an NTrak module
PCC on Saturday, November 19th - talk to me if you want to bring T-Trak modules
GTE on December 4th - talk to Doug if you want to bring NTrak modules.
Sorry we missed seeing and chatting with those who couldn't make it. And we haven't heard from some of you in quite a while - I hope everyone is doing well.

I updated the bylaws and then didn't upload them to the Groups.io site. That is now done. If anyone notices I missed something, please let me know.
