I got an email from the ALCo group, saying the show is officially cancelled. They hope to reschedule in September. I mentioned that OPtoberfest will be the 18th & 19th of September. We'll see what they do.

Like Mike, I hope you're all safe and healthy. Most of us are in the high risk (over 60) category for this thing, so "flatten the curve" as much as you can.

Linda and I are at home in the woods. We are doing ok and I pray all of the rest of you remain safe and healthy. We will set up a layout and enjoy some trains again when this is beyond us. Public gatherings are something we all need to take seriously to help slow this virus down, the sooner it slows the better off we will be in the long run. I am keeping busy working on some projects in the house and have made a lot of progress on my layout as well, Mike L.

T:he ALCo Historical Society's Facebook page says the Amsterdam show is cancelled. I don't trust Facebook, but in this case I suspect it's correct. The ALCo web site has not been updated and they have not responded to an email I sent Friday morning, but given the concerns about large gatherings, I suspect it's really off.

Hope you're all well and don't have COVID-19 or any other illnesses!

Geoff

I spoke with Peter after I got your email. He’s looking at September. I told him the Upstate model Railroaders show will be a two day show this year October 24 and 25th. He said they’re not looking that far into the fall.

Is this a full size module show or T-track layout?

Rod I plan to attend the Alco show with enough modules to fill 2 six foot tables, which I can bring. Also I will bring corners as needed. In addition I will supply two junction modules to tie my set in with the rest of the layout. They could be in a straight line or set at a 90* from the rest of the layout. Also, if you wish I can bring my double junction for use in the layout somewhere. Mike L.

Just a reminder that I need to know who plans on attending or not attending this year's ALCO show scheduled for April 5th. Also, if you are planning on attending, how many modules that you will be bringing to the show. So far, I've only heard from two other members, besides myself, who plan to attend and bring modules. The deadline for notifying the organizers of the show of our participation and how many tables we'll need, is this coming Friday (March 13th).. Thanks.

Rod

Sorry I will not be attending

Thanks Doug

The Upstate Model Rairoaders will be there but on our own. We need to boost our club. Looking for new members.
