Two foot corners
I vote with Geoff on flex track. Also, since 2 foot corners do not meet NTrak National standards, we should at least strive to keep minimum radiii, etc. as high as possible. "John Henry"

Peco track and turnout question.
I agree with Stephen about the relative quality of Peco's vs. Atlas. Both of my first two modules (Bend track end loops) use Peco turnouts. One has the Peco switch motors with the auxiliary accessory

Pricing
I think that it is premature to say JMRI has "set up issues." When Geoff acted as "DCC Master" at CGCC, he came at it from a Windows perspective and Dave came at it from an Apple (iPhone) perspective.

DCC Pricing
Just to clarify, the pricing I gave is throwing everything in. I arbitrarily picked a Lenovo laptop, so it is a high quality, bona fide machine and price. We can probably find cheaper. This setup is n

Dave, I may have jumped the gun here, by missing a posting or two in this rather lengthy thread. It depends on whether Mike has a UR91 for his Zephyr. If so, your UT-4R will work. Otherside, No. Also

Four items, mostly about the CGCC show
Dave, The UT-4R only works with a Digitrax system with Simplex Radio. Those systems use a UR91 receiver panel. You could have a Digitrax system that also has the UR90 (IR only) and UR92 (Duplex Radio)

Thanks for clarifying that Geoff. If I come (likely, but could still change), Spencer and I could bring our Android phones with WiThrottle that we used in Poughkeepsie. The Digitrax PR3 (and variation

Geoff, When you run JMRI on your DCC system, correct me if I am wrong, but it should be able to run more than one track. Maybe all 4 if desired. Or is the amperage too low? "John Henry"

Rod, There's a "helper" I learned about a long time ago to easily accomplish the 2.5 inch track "set in" that Geoff is referring to. N Trak modules are always joined with an Atlas Code 80 5 inch snap

Rod, I second (third, fourth??) the thought of a 2 foot by 4 foot module. I didn't see or maybe I missed a discussion of using the Orange Front Passing Track for your module. This is an optional track
