Geoff,
One show per weekend is my limit. Since I plan to participate in the PCC show on 3/10, I would not be available to participate in the CGCC show if it’s rescheduled to 3/11. Thanks.

Upstate Model Railroaders will be in VT. St Albans show on March 10. We will not be able to attend the Colombia show.

Interesting thing happened last night. Jared Nye bought one of those digitrax wifi extenders. We plugged it in on my layout and it ran perfectly…..until i turned on my wifi camera to show the trains running in the next room. Both phones immediatley drop the digitrax wifi signal and reverted to my home wifi signal. Turning off the camera allowed the digitrax wifi signal to reappear on our phones. I have to talk to digitrax about wifi interference.

Dave,
I was running trains this afternoon with just the DCS-51 (the LNWI was not in use) and was having the same problem with trains stopping spontaneously. I have determined that the problem is being caused by loose rail joiners and dirty track. Therefore, my earlier negative comments about the LNWI should be disregarded. Thanks.

I did purchase the Digitrax LNWI late last year and it was in use at GTE in December (it worked fine). The only issue I have had with it is trains spontaneously stopping. I’ve tried clearing all the slots in LocoNet using JMRI thinking that a locomotive may be responding to a residual command from my DCS-51, but that doesn’t seem to have solved the problem. I’ve been meaning to contact Digitrax about this issue, but haven’t done so yet. Geoff also has an LNWI. Therefore, you may want to check with him to get his thoughts.

I’m going to be picking-up Bob Gatland’s lift bridge from Rik Schlierer about a week before the CGCC show. I can try setting it up between my 2 modules at home to make sure that there are not any issues before bringing it to the show on 3/4. I know when we first tried setting it up on the Saturday before GTE, the wooden dowels that are used as pins for the hinges had gone missing. I fashioned some new ones following setup on Saturday, but Rik found them in time for the show on Sunday.

Several people have indicated an interest in bringing modules to the Columbia-Greene Community College show. We can still fit more. I got the confirmation letter that we have our usual space today.
Rod has offered to bring the lift bridge module built by Bob Gatland, plus Brian Emerson's module, instead of bringing his own modules. I was never involved in setting up Bob's lift bridge module. Who set it up at the GTE, how did it work, and do we want to use the bridge module instead of, or in addition to, the club duckunder? Thanks for any input. Geoff

Hi everyone. This is a quick treasury report.
1. I have received a few checks for dues in the last couple of weeks. They were deposited today.
2. I also received dues from one member over the weekend at Springfield.
3. There are two "regulars" who haven't given me dues yet. I will reach out to them privately.
4. Yesterday, we received an honorarium for setting up at the Upstate Model Railroaders show - thanks to them for having us.
We're putting another $120 in the bank and we haven't spent much this year. I have talked to President Dave about purchasing fitted table skirts for T-Trak shows but we haven't finalized anything on that yet.
