Topics for discussion will include:

club property, especially all the stuff stored at my house

N-Trak or TTrak at shows

other topics as the membership desires

and it will be a chance to pay your annual dues.

It's kind of far off, but it's a heads up kind of notice.

As we have no NTRAK modules to use for shows it makes no difference to us.
I was contacted by the Salt City NTrak club. They are looking for NTrak modules for the Syracuse show in November.

That is accurate. We have moved our show to Saturday November 16. 10-4.
It does not conflict with other shows in the area.

Forest or Mike, the UMR web site indicates the UMR open house date is now in mid-November.  Is that accurate?

Your welcome Geoff. Besides my throttle wouldn’t control the BigBoy anyway.

My UT-4 throttle had old software and at Springfield I was encouraged to send it in for an update. It was sent to Digitrax in February but I have not received it back yet.  Digitrax got clobbered by one of last year's hurricanes.  So, thanks to Mike Romanowski for leaving his throttle behind while he's out west.

I uploaded a few pictures to the photos area in the Yahoo group.  Yahoo is being its normal self and won't let me upload everything I want, so there are three pictures there now but hopefully I can upload more in a bit.

Yes, we will be setting up at 3/4 " same as the Alco show. It seems to be what most shows are doing so our club is set at that for all shows we do.

N Scale Glass Top Train Cases Each case hold up to 10 passenger cars

Rod Mason

Hi All,

Some of you have asked me where I got the glass top cases that I use to bring rolling stock to train shows.  Shown below is the URL from eBay for where you can buy these cases.  Unfortunately, unlike when I bought them in sets of 3 for around $50, they are now only being offered in sets of 12 for a price of $202.11, which works out to about $16.85 per unit.  I was looking to buy 3 more for myself and, if there’s enough interest from others, I would be willing to take orders to buy an additional 9 cases to get to the required order of 12.  If there’s any interest, please let me know the number that you would be willing to purchase at $16.85 per case.  Thanks.

Re: 2019 National Train Day show at the Aviation Mall

Forest,

In light of Andy’s offer to bring his double to Saturday’s show, I have a suggestion on where it could go.  Specifically, can we rearrange modules so that Andy’s module will  go where one of my singles was to be placed at the top of the crossbar of the “T” on the right leaving space on the bottom of the crossbar to move that single to the bottom right of the crossbar so that my 3 modules can be placed side-by-side?  Thanks.

Rod

Forest,

I apologize for being a little late here but I have a double I can bring if needed. No need to redo the layout but if it's needed I can bring it.

Thanks,

Andy.

Hi Forest,

I would like to bring one double and two singles to Saturday’s show. If possible, I would like to arrange them so they are contiguous to each other. If that’s not possible, I would like to be able to arrange them so that the double is back-to-back with the 2 singles as they share a power source for the lighting on the double (i.e. Farmhouse) and 1 of the singles (i.e. Cabin in the woods). I’ve attached photos of the 3 modules. What time will we begin setting-up? Thanks.

Rod
