So far, I have Mike Richards, Mike Romanowski, Forest, Rod, and myself bringing modules to next Saturday's show.  Brian is a possibility but not certain.  If anyone else wants to bring modules, please let me know by mid-week. Mark? Neil? Fred? Andrew? Al? Others??

If Brian brings his module set, we'll set up something like last fall's layout (I'll fill in where Mark's modules were if he doesn't attend).  If Brian doesn't bring modules, we can rearrange things quite a bit.  Rod's modules could move from the corner by the door to a spot closer to the HO layout.  We can put the junctions on the leg by the stairs to the stage, or we could skip the junctions and just run two DCC loops.  Does anyone want to suggest anything different?

I will be out of town on the weekend of March 9th, so I will not be available for the PCC show. I will be able  to bring modules to the Amsterdam show in April, Mike L.

Hello, fellow residents of the Great White North.  Spring is coming, and with it the PCC train show, on Saturday, March 9th.  We'll do another T-Trak layout, with four tables.

Please let me know over the next week or so if you're interested in bringing modules.

The Kato connections are the official connectors for T-Trak.  They are not specifically for DCC.  I can bring functioning modules to your house sometime if you want to verify your installation, or if you want help installing the Kato connectors.

Ok Mike.  The cables we use for our layouts are set up to switch the polarity so the crossovers can be used.

Thank you Rod for your work on the polarity issue. There was a significant polarity issue with the TTRAK layout at Springfield, over one third of the layout was inoperable. The TTRAK standard for wiring is blue white white blue.  Some older TTRAK clubs used blue white blue white.

Geoff I also suggest hooking up the red line normally to the DCC and reversing the yellow line. this way all crossovers  will work without a short.

I talked to Carl Graves last night and let him know that the club is not interested in the equipment.  He is still trying to sell it so if anyone is interested, contact him directly.  His information is in the message trail on the Yahoo Groups site.

Carl was somewhat active with us a few years ago and some of you probably remember him.  He has had some health issues lately, but he is still working on a layout and may see us at future shows.

Like John, I’m ambivalent about the offer.  As Mike has pointed out, we could get a brand new system for only $127 more.  As much as I’d like to help out a former member, I vote for spending the extra money for a new system.
