Re: ASSL '80: Week/Series #31 Manatees v Crackers

Thomas Battiato

Admittedly, Florida sold off its best assets to build for the future, but this is pathetic.

After holding the lead in three of the four games, and being tied through six innings in the fourth, our bullpen managed to cough them all up. We miss you Tom Burgmeier, and we're sorry!

Valdosta sweeps four close games..

Crackers 4, Manatees 3
Crackers 6, Manatees 5, 15 innings
Crackers 10, Manatees 8
Crackers 5, Manatees 4

Re: Cascade vs Seltzer

Umpy

Seltzer needed at least 4 and maybe a sweep to have a chance to make the playoffs.   It started out well as they took the first 3, including a 15 inning game where they came back twice late.  But Vida Blue shut them out in game 4 and also dropped game 5 to stay too many back to catch Mudville.

Bayou City at Mt.Lebanon

Steve Alvin

The Terriers keep their head above .500 as well as play a bit of a spoiler by splitting with Bayou City.

Re: ASSL: Updated 1982 File with Imports

I lied about 1981 Bayou City:  I need uncarded Scott Holman added to the disk and roster.

Updated/revised 1982 preliminary C-file. The uncarded have been imported and added. Should be pretty close; might be a drop here or there. Obviously all of these rosters will be different once cuts, trades and the 1981 draft is done.

Note: All of the "xxx" named/players near the bottom in AD are the duplicates that I had to zero out.

ASSL: Preliminary MUDVILLE 1982

Kevin McNally

Originally wasn’t going to chime in, but boredom crept in…

Mudville 1981 looks good.

Mudville 1982 Preliminary file attached.

Corrections include:

Missing (added to roster with f-file):

Pujols, Luis  C

Bailor, Bob  2B+ (on BAY roster)

Curtis, John  SP

Lerch, Randy  SP (on SL roster)

Ojeda, Bob  SP

Kern, Jim  P (on WP roster)

Shouldn't be on team (released with f-file):

Kennedy, Terry  C

Eckersley, Dennis  SP

Uncarded KEEPER:

Davis, Mark  P

(early to announce I realize)

Thanks,

    Kevin

Updated 1981 and also a rough 1982 projection attached. The 1982 doesn't have all of the extras/uncarded. The official disk, for some reason, didn't include them so I'll have to import. Maybe between now and then APBA will have it updated.

These are not official. The '81 should be pretty close; the '82 is just for a general look of what you potentially will have.

Re: ASSL: 1981 and 1982 Seltzer teams

Umpy

1981 Seltzer team good to go  No file attached for that team as it's not needed.
1982 Seltzer file attached.  Needed to add some, delete 1 and awaiting addition of Ned Yost, and Rick Burleson extra players that were not on disk.
