I've switched to a new computer. Is there a list of MM's somewhere?  I especially need MM's for Polish, Melonville, and Cut and Shoot.

Thanks!

Steve

Looking at the starting pitching grades alone, this could be a low-scoring year. The East is going to be a meatgrinder again. Very few starts will be made in our division by single-digit starters....

Melonville's MM is Tony Soprano.

The proposal to switch to an unbalanced schedule fails. The current vote is 9 against and 8 for; so even if the non-voting owner approves it'll be 9-9 and fails.

So I've gone back to the balanced schedule with this c-file. If you sent in your f-file with the old schedule I suggest re-doing it after loading this file. It probably doesn't matter but to be safe let's re-send everything.

F-files with 26 man rosters and assigned managers will be due by Wednesday. Be sure to check "include farm rosters" when making your files. Otherwise your farm extras will be dumped into undrafted.

The league schedule is not, well, pretty <g>. Some six game and five game series plus four games series for games out of your division. It's not real "smooth" - a bit disjointed but it's the best I can do for now.

The schedule generator is very particular about our type of league. The 12 "within" and 8/9 "outside" mix should work. I tried 14 games within division but that made it impossible to get a balance out of the other extra-division games.

Unique league has opening

Chris Strovel (Harpers Ferry Federal Armory)

Excuse the multiple copies a lot of you will get…..

NXPL has an opening. We’re about to start the 1988 season. For 28 seasons, we have continued MLB as if expansion never happened. 16 teams, no DH, no expanded playoffs. Each team has a source franchise from which it can protect one free rookie, and further free rookies at the price of its draft picks. Montreal is the base franchise that’s open. Coming in to the league, you would have the option to move the team to an open NL franchise, namely the Mets, Padres, Giants, or Cardinals. One you pick your base, you stay with it.

I’m looking for an owner who is reliable with files, timely with other league housekeeping, and my preference would be somebody who plays the games rather than sims them all.

ASSL '81: Poll Results: Playoff Schedule

The playoff schedule proposal is at 11-2 in favor. So that passes.

But please vote for the unbalanced schedule proposal.

ASSL '81: Poll Results: PLEASE VOTE

Steven Galbraith

The poll results for going to an unbalance scheduled is a tie at 7-7.

We need votes from: Silver City, Spokane, Czech and Cascade.

If it remains a tie (or is defeated) then we need to go back to the balanced schedule. That's easy to do - I can just load a previous one and adjust it.

So, let's freeze things a bit for a couple of days.
