Seltzer takes advantage of some lesser pitching from Red Bull and takes 4 of 5.
Rob Wilfong went 4-5 (all singles) with 3 runs and 3 rbi's to lead Seltzer to a 15-5 win. Brian Downing, Cliff Johnson (off the bench) and Ron Cey all drove in 3. Joaquin Andujar didn't pitch great, but still got the win.
Bob Stanley did pitch great as he went 8.2 shutout innings before leaving with the bases loaded in the 9th as Seltzer won 4-0. Bill Castro came on to get the final out for his 8th save. Ron Cey homered and drove in 2.
Carney Lansford homered and drove in 2 to lead Red Bull to a 4-3 win. Seltzer had a couple of runners thrown out on the bases. Dick Drago held off Seltzer over the final 2 innings for his 2nd save.
Brian Downing's solo homer in the 7th broke up a 5-5 tie as Seltzer won 6-5. Bob Boone hit a pair of homers and drove in 3 for Red Bull. Sid Monge went the final 3 for the win.
Dave Frost went 7 innings of 2 run ball and the pen barely held on for a 5-4 Seltzer win. Leon Roberts 2 run homer in the 8th made it interesting. Bill Castro allowed a runner to 3rd but held on in the 9th for his 9th save.
