Seltzer took 4 of 5 from a good hitting but poor pitching Cascade team.
Cascade got a pair of 1st inning triples to score 2. Seltzer tied it with 2 in the 4th. Cascade got 2 in the 6th on a Patek 2 run single and another in the 7 on a Molitor triple. Seltzer started their comeback with 1 in the 8th. Brain Downing tied it in the 9th with a 2 run homer. Seltzer won it in the 10th as Cascades pen was shot on a Hosken Powell rbi single. Final 6-5 Seltzer.
Seltzer got 2 early runs. Cascade came back with a 5 spot in the 5th. Ron Jackson hit a 2 run homer. Seltzer got 1 back in the 7th and then scored 8 in the 8th to win 11-6. Mike Ivie drove in 4.
Jerry Martin hit a pair of homers and drove in 5 as Seltzer got 3 in the 6th to break up a 3-3 game and 3 more in the 8th to win 9-3.
1 More late magic from Seltzer as Mike Ivie beat Cascade 3-2. His 2 run homer in the 7th tied the game and his solo in the 9th won it.
Seltzer went back to their best SP in Dave Frost. Didn't pay off. Frost got hit around for the 2nd time in the series as Cascade got 6 in just 3 innings. Luis Tiant scattered 9 hits over 8.1 innings for the win. Pepe Frias drove in 3 on 3 hits, including a triple. Claudell Washington doubled and tripled. Keith Moreland chipped in with 2 rbi's. Final 10-1 Cascade.
