No such passcode request has been received as far as I can determine. Response to a passcode request is usually processed immediately or as soon as it is seen. You must request a passcode with your name and a valid ham radio callsign, when I receive this you will get a passcode. 73 Steve, KF6WAX, APRSISCE Admin On Fri, Dec 16, 2022 at 10:10 AM Lee Mason <lee@...> wrote:

application to join the users group does not need reply and I was the person who approved your membership. Joining the group does not automatically mean you are given a passcode, email me directly with your name and callsign and I will issue your passcode 73 Steve, kf6wax On Fri, Dec 16, 2022 at 10:24 AM Lee Mason <lee@...> wrote:

Just a reminder on getting a passcode: http://aprsisce.wikidot.com/doc:passcode As another comment, it appears the search function doesn't work for me on the WIKI. Robert Giuliano

There are several online passcode generators. The passcode is just a hash of your callsign, rather than some secret code provided by the dev. |

Please do NOT promote online password generators. They do not
do any sort of validation of the requesting callsign as required
by https://www.aprs-is.net/Connecting.aspx (emphasis their's): passcode=computed passcode for your callsign. -1 is used for receive-only. It is the responsibility of each software author to provide the proper passcode to their individual users on a request basis. This is to aid in keeping APRS-IS restricted to amateur radio use only.
