Map Opacity
Lynn Deffenbaugh
I should have also mentioned that the Screen / Brightness settings (Bright vs Dim) simply change the background color of the map between white and black respectively. This has the effect of making a dim map at lower opacity settings with the black background and a washed-out map at lower opacity settings with the white background. Dim and low opacity makes for a better night-time map. And at 100% opacity, you cannot tell the difference since none of
the background comes through the map. Lynn (D) - KJ4ERJ - Author of APRSISCE
