I haven't given up (yet) on my attempt at building a Rx-only iGate. I've followed this YT video to a "T" and I see my station on APRS.fi but I'm not receiving any RF (checked with AGW Monitor). Now, on that video, he shows it on APRS.fi but never shows that it's receiving and passing along packets.
My sound card is attached to my AT878 which has squelch open on 144.39. Using AGWPE (not PE Pro). Windows 10. Baofeng two-pin to single 3.5mm jack cable (radio to sound card). While I'm obviously open to any & all suggestions at this point, has anybody followed the video above with the same equipment and had it work, i.e., a functioning Rx-only iGate? I'd prefer to exhaust this possibility before Raspberry Pi's, Direwolf, et al. THANKS! |

It might help if we knew what type or kind of
soundcard you are using with this set up.

Do you hear any packets on the channel? You may be in an area where there is no activity.
