Good Morning,
Is anyone using the WX3in1 Mini (sold by HRO for $139.00) for use as an APRS Igate.  My Sound-card option with the computer hasn't worked rightin years.  Info appears on APRS-Fi then disappears.  This way I can use the computer with weather data and split the serial (receive only) cable to the APRS I-gate and the computer display at the same time.

Hi there, We have a few of them here in the county, using them as DIGI's. Mine is fixed and runs 24/7 except net nights (I have only the one antenna) A couple of others are in Pelican cases for use as porta-DIGI's for events and activations. I'm notclear about the split function, haven't tried anything like that. I tried the I-gate function in the house with a really poor antenna, and it worked, but I don't have internet out to the shack. I had to choose between antenna and internet. The low level DIGI here fills a blank spot in this corner of the county and the I-gate function is handled well by other stations.
