My TH-D74 settings
Arnold Harding - KQ6DI
Attached is a snip of my APRSIS32 config file for the TH-D74.
The TH-D74 needs to be in APRS MODE of KISS12 (not APRS 12).
Bluetooth needs to be on and obviously connected. I don't remember what modes I may have been connected as, but it obviously needs to be connected.
In APRSIS32 the Port Configuration is Simply (KISS), and obviously somehow connected to BT.
It works just fine when I use it. I'm sorry I can't provide more details, but the best thing is, I select that port (with BT connected), it all works like it should. So it's fairly simple once you get the port and connection all working.
I know what I have seems scattered, but it works great when I use it. So don't give up.
I hope this helps.

I haven't hooked my D74 to APRSIS32 in a while, but off the top of my head, I'd do the following:
1) On the radio, set the BT port for KISS mode. IIRC, you can lock the D74 into KISS mode.
2) Pair the radio with the APRSIS32 host using Windows features. APRSIS32 is not involved in this step.
3) Create a Simply(KISS) type port over the Bluetooth connection and it will hopefully "just work".

The APRSIS32 client is compatible with 64-bit OS. I run it on Windows 7 64bit, Windows 10 64bit, and just got Windows 11 (not my choice) 64bit to try, but quite sure it will work. I know others are running it.

I had a technical failure with the laptop. I ran APRS on. I need a pass code to download the program on a new laptop. I also need to find out where I can load the 64 bit APRS. Thank you

I am not sure which "Port type" worked with the TH-D74, but I am pretty sure one of the Kenwood (KWD7xx) ports worked.
I think there are 4 options (2 for 700 and 2 for 710), but I don't have any Kenwood equipment.
I am hopeful that this post spurs someone to answer your question.
Since this was cross-posted from the [OWNER] group, maybe the Topic was the issue. I changed the Topic to see if that gets a response.
