Freq monitor popup keeps popping up but never gets into the B-VFO

anyone know of a setting or other software i can run on at my home station that can grab the aprs voice repeater beacon packets
and let me press a button to load it into the radio ( a kenwood 2000 ) ???
i think the Kenwood Mobil can do this , seems like it would be handy.
