Yeah, a 4 long suffix fails AX.25 protocol for a callsign. It should be fine as an object/item name tho. Randy WF5X

What does the W8KPU station show? The call comes back to Swartz Creek just west of Flint? Seems you've still got a setting off somewhere. Wait.. that's a KPC3+ tnc. I think you might not be in KISS mo

TNC log data I don't understand
Last time I checked... you don't put a KPC3+ into kiss mode by saying KISS ON... I believe it is INT KISS then RESTART The last command in that error list is KISS ON. Also, the KPC3's don't say OK...

Just a hunch, but I bet that APZDMR is one-way GPS data from DMR devices to APRS... In that case, the person's DMR radio probably doesn't actually support true APRS functionality. Randy WF5X

You can filter what you show locally on your screen by the use of Tactical Nicknames. These can be set in your instance and shared over-air to others in your group. This is all done on your computer..

Where is "S8RY4Q" generated?
So, just to be clear, the D710 is sending beacons position and other type packets using Dire Wolf the same call-SSID (KD7YZ-15) ? What you're seeing is two different uses of the TO call field. The S8R
